And Once Again It’s A R Rehman and the Oscar!
Monday, February 23rd, 2009Hey, I’m completely thrilled. It’s Oscar Day for India. India got Oscar for Slumdog & Oscar for “Smile Pinki”. As a creative company based in India we are proud for all these. Congratulations to all the winners. So here are the wins: AR Rehman for best original score and the second is best song for “Jay Ho!” (Guljar s also there), Resul Pookutty for Best sound mixing in Slumdog Millionaire and American filmmaker Megan Mylan for her documentary based on India “Smile Pinki”.
So we are posting Videos of acceptance by A R Rehman and don’t forget to see Pookutty & “Smile Pinki” (trailer posted at the bottom of this post). We are also posting the CEO takeaway out of it of this month tomorrow.

But I’m so passionate about the “Smile Pinki” which is a tell of a little girl Pinki, who was being treated for her by born lip deformity. Really it’s a great smile. This remembered me of my friend’s brother with same deformity and mental imbalance. We all was loving him and did a lot to make him able to walk and talk. And I got to know there was another documentary on India nominated for the Oscar: The Final Inch. I really appreciate the work of both the film maker and the organizations that made this happen.
