Ok. Now come to the part where we will discuss what your website needs to make you a brand. There are 3 steps to do that:

1)      Attract them to your site

2)      Engage them with you

3)      Let them buy you. You want this very step.

 

 Step1: Attract them

It’s always easy and 60% more effective to use inbound marketing rather than traditional outbound marketing. In inbound marketing people or your target market is finding you. They are searching Google when they start to surf. And if you are a B2B company, then you should jump in joy as more than 80% of the B2B companies start their search in Google even before searching in their neighborhood. But cool down!! There is a problem?? Most of them don’t even go to the second page of the search results. Hence we should make our site such that it will come to the first page of Google for a search keyword. In short SEO techniques:-

1)      Place meta tags of keywords in your page

2)      Drive more inbound links to your site (more from good ranked website is better)

3)      Place good quality outbound links on your site.

4)      Place keywords in Headlines, Title and in bold sentences on your page. Use the keyword more in your articles.

5)      Use lesser but most targeted keywords and intensify them on your page

 

The second technique for attracting more visitors is giving online ads. You can give ads through Google ad words or in different blogs. But while choosing sites for your ad placement, check well what is the number of visitors to the site in a month and most importantly is that site/blog is meant for your target audience? This will reduce your cost per lead and the lead you obtain after ensuring these will be those who want your products. So it will be very easy to convert them. Step2: Engage them with you:

Your site should provide the necessary solution they want. They have a problem and they want to buy a product like what you are selling. But they want some free counseling before that. So you should catch them at that stage. A perfect counselor always converts more prospects into clients.

A good strategy to do this is segmenting your target market and placing some special counseling section for each segment. You should discuss in details particularly the problem they face & how to solve it.

If you are an advisor whom they trust, then they will definitely trust your product. Isn’t it? Now come to the technologies which can make them to engage with you more:

a)      Videos: Place more and more videos to your site. People don’t love to read a lot on internet. But they finish up the total video watching very minutely. This attracts them and makes them to sit and watch. This also saves their time. But while making videos for internet always choose your people as actors & not celebrities. This will put a positive impact on your visitors and make them feel how cool or practical you are, whom they are going to meet next. b)      Blogging: As I told before more they will come, more the chance to have them as your client. And blog just fits here. Blog (more about blog) is a kind of website where you can place fresh articles always. You can see our blog. Fresh blog articles make them to come again and again to read new. So keep in mind provide blog articles continuously (at least once in a week). Every blog article has a comment section. So don’t forget to request them to comment on the article and then don’t forget to reply on their comments. Even you can make Video blogs or image blogs to attract more people.

c)       Social Media Optimization: So it’s important to let your website visitor know that you are present on which social media (i.e. you are on Flickr, Orkut, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.). Step3: Let them buy you (your product/service):

This is your ultimate goal. Isn’t it? A safe smooth and most targeted buying process leaves a feel of great satisfaction to your new client. Provide more call to action buttons on your site, which let them buy your product when they made the decision (at that particular instant). Keep the landing page neat and enhance the points what they are buying and its benefits. This increases the chance to complete the buying process. Always make a single action landing page and don’t put navigation bar there which can distract them. Use a safe & instant buying process (or, e-commerce solution). Use PayPal or Google check out for a low cost & highly secured buying online.
